Duracoat is a chemically cured firearms coating. The Manufacture notes you can fire in 24 hrs, but you should handle it carefully. The manufacture also notes Full cure is achieved in 3 to 4 weeks. We usually suggest that customers place the firearm in a safe or gun cabinet and forget that they own it for about a month. Of course, during this waiting period you'll need to take it out and stare at it and smile occasionally.
